Here We Go Again

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Pictures and sounds are great catalysts for the memory. They pry loose the seemingly forgotten memories that are deep in our latent memory. Here is picture of my basic training unit, Echo Company, 16/4 from 1968. The marching cadence playing, "Here We Go Again," is one I remember well from basic. The cadences had a tendency to sooth the sole and build the camaraderie so critical to a fighting unit, not to mention the break in the monotony of marching for miles.
